Martin Luther King Jr. Day-- Real Funny Poster at an official State Building.

This is not photoshoped. I took this picture from my iPhone at the Van Buren Health Department when I was getting my Kids shots Last week. I had to wait till today to post it but I thought it would be worth it. Make sure and read the bottom name on the poster.

I didn't think nor do I have the time to research if that is the official state position on this day, but I think it is funny either way. Be sure and give the riff trax banner some love if you like this post.

Insightful Speech

Here is an insightful speech by Michael Crichton.  It is long but it is worth a read.  For those of us who arn't complete idiots it starts a little slow but when he gets into the history of managing wildlife on Yellowstone National Park you'll really enjoy it.

I improved 100 words per minute in my reading using this simple tool. That is 6000 words an hour better than I read when I started.   I will do it again tomorrow to see if the results stick.  Here is the link to the tool.

Interview on Fox 24 News

Yesterday I did an interview for fox 24 news. They asked me about a controversial Wii game based on beer pong. I didn't bother to watch to see if they aired it. I don't really care that much but this morning I got curious. Did anyone see me on TV last night?

Amish Restaurant

If you are willing to drive about a little ways there is a great Amish Restaurant called Fannie's Country Cookin' about an hour from Fort Smith. I ate there with a group about 4 years ago and have been planning a trip to go again soon. Here is some of the information about the place for those who may be looking for it.

Fannie's Country Cookin'
918-476-7891
15842 S 428
Chouteau, OK 74337

The food is great and it is a unique atmosphere, they have buggy rides and other things available as well. It uses gas lights and feels like you are stepping back in time.
