Lately I've been working on a lot of things around the house. I've built some really cool curved steps that fit nicely between my deck and fence. I've planted some tree's and have been creating some new stone pathways around the flower beds in the back yard. It is looking very nice although I still have a long ways to go before it is finished. There are some pictures after the jump.
This Weeping Japanese Maple tree was free. A friend was getting rid of it, It is huge I had to dig a hole probably 8 feet across to bury it last fall but it looks very healthy this year.
These curved deck steps I designed myself. I needed to create a more graceful way to get off my deck. These turned out great the green vines are sweet potato if your wondering.
This is part of the stone work I have been doing. You'll also notice the stone below the curved steps I built. This is slow work but it is starting to look nice. Still far from finished.
