Hit the comments button and lets complain about restaurants in Fort Smith. I'm sure we all have lots of horror stories. I'll start...
2 weeks ago I took my wife to the Shogun/Peeking Palace here in Fort Smith. The chef was a little clumsy and considering his job being clumsy isn't a desirable trait. I'm not really there for the entertainment, I just wanted some good food. At our table we had several people but my wife was the only person who ordered chicken. My steak was great, her chicken was dry and just didn't taste very good. I politely told the waitress and she fetched the manager, who came out with a fork and took a bite of my wife's chicken and said "it tastes fine to me" in a very snotty voice. Me and my wife were shocked and didn't even know what to say. We've eaten there many times and the chicken was always great, it was clearly inferior. I wasn't even wanting a discount or anything I just wanted to leave feedback so the could improve the product since we were full already. I was shocked silent by him acting that way however so I complained about his actions and the food when I went to pay the check. He then started yelling at me and holding up receipts saying "look how many people order chicken, you only one to complain"
I think thats the last time I'll be eating there for a while. My wife called the health department and they said they'd send out some inspectors since he ate off her plate. I think thats kind of funny.
Anyway leave your restaurant stories here in the comment section, I look forward to reading them soon.

At the Risk of Seeming Politically Incorrect...
I've experienced the same attitude in other Chinese restaurants, and not just in Fort Smith. Must be something in the fwied wice.
I'm starting to show up on google for Peking Palace / Shogun
Not long from today when people search for Peking Palace or Shogun in Fort Smith, they will find my complaint. Why, because my personal site is designed better than anything the peking palace has put together on their own.

they are horrible!!
i was so happy when i found this page. I had a aweful experience there in jan. 2008. For every birthday or special occasion we go to shogun. My husband and I also ordered susi to go from there every friday night. We took about 10 people there for my birthday. Just for mine and my husbands it was over 100 dollars=which we planned for. When we got the bill there was a whole other order of a steak meal on it. We told the waitress who got the chef who got the manager who then told us, "well, that was what we made so you have to pay for it. There was a whole table of people there saying what we had and what we ordered. They called us liars and told us they would call the police it we didnt pay for that 20 dollars they had added to the bill. It was so humiliating for them to treat us like that, especially in front of all my friends. We told them how offended we were and told them how much we visited their establishment, the manager just rolled his eyes. I was shocked. I have never in my life been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Every person at my table vowed to never go back, and we spend lots of time at the place we work telling people our experience.
I've eaten at Shogun many,
I used to love it
"It could have been a bad day
A purpose of this site

Opinions and Hypocrites
Shayne, we don’t know each other but I’ve stumbled across your blog about Peking Palace/Shogun. I’ve never had a bad experience in there however; I only eat there about three times a year. They do have the best sushi in town. But, I agree with you Shayne, if I or my husband was treated poorly in a restaurant I would not step foot in there again and I would tell all my friends and family about it. That maybe hateful or vindictive or whatever that other guy said. The fact of the matter is the best advertisement is word of mouth. We pay for a product and/or a service and if we are not satisfied with said product and/or service then that company should expect a poor verbal review. And, on top of that, with today’s technology word-of-mouth advertising has never been easier. So with all of that, you keep doing what your doing Shayne and don’t let hypocrites point fingers and place blame. And, for the hypocrite – you are entitled to your opinion too. That’s one thing that I love about this country. But keep in mind, opinions are like a-holes, everyone’s got one.
