Software Decisions

Any mechanic knows that having the right tool for the job is essential to doing the job right and in a timely manor. Its not a tough concept but for some reason people don't apply this thought to their software. I know lots of people who want software to run their business and don't want to spend money to get it. Many Open Source softwares are available and many of them are very very good. These are great solutions if you can find one, but if your company is doing 2 million a year in sales is it really unreasonable to pay 20,000 dollars to make sure your records are kept properly. thats only 1% of your sales to manage and keep your records.
