Nintendo is being sued by a group of attorney's who need to hear from you!

Nintendo is being sued because a few users of the Wii apparently don't know how to hold onto an object. They are getting wild with their pitches on baseball and actually letting go of the Wii remote. It has a safety strap that goes around your wrist to help keep the remote from flying. Apparently some people have had the strap break because it isn't strong enough. Here is some information about the Wii from my experience.

  1. I couldn't pull hard enough to break the strap, I tried yesterday just to see if I could.
  2. The remote is tiny and weighs almost nothing, the amount of force it would take to break the strap while making a throwing motion is equal roughly to a Randy Johnson fast ball.
  3. The games don't require you to make extremely fast and exaggerated motions. Most actually work better with smaller more deliberate motions.
  4. My 3 year old doesn't even drop the remote.
  5. Every game gives you a warning before you start that says securely fasten wrist strap before playing and the directions always say to securely grip the remote.

Below is an email I sent to the law firm with which this case is being filled. I think we should all send them emails telling them how crazy it is. here is their email address gw@classcounsel.com. Be polite they are just trying to make a fast buck. Here is their website www.classcounsel.com I didn't make it a link because I don't want to benefit their page rank.

I was hit by a softball after a player hit the ball off of his bat. Can I sue the softball company, or the softball bat company since their product when used properly according to the directions hurt me?

That would make more sense than suing Nintendo when they clearly state to hold on to the controller, how can a company be responsible for incorrect use of its product.

Can a person hit with a golf club sue the golf club company?

I want to know how I can get in on the action? It seems like you have a nice business going, looking out for the little man and all.

Here are some more for you guys.

  • Tyson needs to be sued because some people can't seem to swallow their chicken and get chocked. They should make their chicken more swallowable.
  • What about carpet tack companies I'm always scratching my feet on carpet tacks. Think of the disease that must spread from that.
  • Shoe companies shouldn't manufacture shoes with laces long enough to trip over.
  • Books should only be made with round corners because it won't hurt you as bad when you drop it on your toe.
  • Old style light bulbs shouldn't be manufactured because they get hot enough to burn you, they have florescent lights now that they should make instead.

I'll try and come up with some more if these won't work for you.
