I'm stuck at home right now due to the snow. My wife and boys have been out sledding but my wife just hurt her butt so now we are stuck inside for a while. We live on a hill so it's great for sledding, but bad for driving. I saw one truck get stuck in the valley just down from our house, he couldn't go up the next hill or back the way he came. It was an eventful weekend for me.  We had a surprise party for my brother nick who just turned 16.  He was very surprised, it was a lot of fun.  Go to this website and you can hear one of the songs we played for his birthday.  I thought it was funny. I also bought him a car key to give him.  It didn't go to a car though.  Oh well.  I'm sure later tonight we will put some pictures from the party up on my wife's site.

It has been a very nice new year so far. We had a nice little party with lots of friends over to play with my Wii and some Ninja Burger. Everyone who reads this needs to purchase the game "Ninja Burger" right now. Don't hesitate go to ebay and buy one right now...

Welcome back I'm sure you'll enjoy that game you just bought. My friend Brad brought that over and it was really a great game. Thanks for introducing me to it. Over the next couple of weeks we should be starting a weekly life group on Tuesdays so I'll probably start updating this with the information we go over in our studies and with extra information relating to the particular lessons we are on. So that will probably make for some very interesting updates in the future.

Any mechanic knows that having the right tool for the job is essential to doing the job right and in a timely manor. Its not a tough concept but for some reason people don't apply this thought to their software. I know lots of people who want software to run their business and don't want to spend money to get it. Many Open Source softwares are available and many of them are very very good. These are great solutions if you can find one, but if your company is doing 2 million a year in sales is it really unreasonable to pay 20,000 dollars to make sure your records are kept properly. thats only 1% of your sales to manage and keep your records. I just don't get it. Anyway this is something bugging me today at work so I thought I'd mention it. Here is a good POS Software company prophetline if you ever care to contact one.

1. I couldn't pull hard enough to break the strap, I tried yesterday just to see if I could.
2. The remote is tiny and weighs almost nothing, the amount of force it would take to break the strap while making a throwing motion is equal roughly to a Randy Johnson fast ball.
3. The games don't require you to make extremely fast and exaggerated motions. Most actually work better with smaller more deliberate motions.
4. My 3 year old doesn't even drop the remote.
5. Every game gives you a warning before you start that says securely fasten wrist strap before playing and the directions always say to securely grip the remote.
