If you are willing to drive about a little ways there is a great Amish Restaurant called Fannie's Country Cookin' about an hour from Fort Smith. I ate there with a group about 4 years ago and have been planning a trip to go again soon. Here is some of the information about the place for those who may be looking for it.

The food is great and it is a unique atmosphere, they have buggy rides and other things available as well. It uses gas lights and feels like you are stepping back in time.
I've been using Netflix to rent movies for nearly 4 years. They offer incredible service and great prices. I even bought Netflix subscriptions for my parents Christmas present. Mom isn't great with computers but she loves it.
I wondered what people who read my site think of this years crappy election? I can't stand the options. You have John the bill of rights should be used for toilet paper McCain. You've got Barack the United States has spent the last 200 years trying to prevent a black man from doing anything beyond shining shoes Obama. Neither are worth a fart sniff as far as I can tell. I'm thinking I need to go 3rd party this year and vote Bob Barr, but then I don't know. I want a candidate that thinks a man should be responsible for themselves.
Lately I've been working on a lot of things around the house. I've built some really cool curved steps that fit nicely between my deck and fence. I've planted some tree's and have been creating some new stone pathways around the flower beds in the back yard. It is looking very nice although I still have a long ways to go before it is finished. There are some pictures after the jump.
Takeo came over to spend the evening with us today. He's a lot of fun to have conversations with and if you get the chance to get to know him you shouldn't pass it up. He's from Japan so my wife was thrilled to try out a few words on him. But we had a nice time, he gave us a couple of very nice gifts, and we shared some fun stories. Here is a picture we took for him to send to his family.

I couldn't resist using the pic of my dog for this. To be honest it ways my wife's idea but I kind of encouraged it and even helped with the dyeing process. So here is a despair.com poster I made.
